Nothing beats feeling like a kid again and having a fantastic time with your kids! The KidsFest San Diego is one of the best family-friendly festivals in the United States, and spells a lot of squeals, smiles and laughter from kids.

Held in the city of San Diego, California one weekend in May or June annually, the KidsFest San Diego was first celebrated in 2010 at the Liberty Station NTC Promenade in Point Loma. It was founded by Robin Laatz who also founded the San Diego Film Festival. She created the festival so kids can enjoy a number of activities unlike what they are used to. The event aims to captivate their young minds, have fun while learning, and enjoy number of hands-on activities.  San Diego is a family-friendly city and its attractions which you can visit with your kids before or after the festival include SeaWorld San Diego, Seaport Village, Mission Bay Park, San Diego Model Railroad Museum, Cabrillo Tide Pools, Dog Beach, Children's Pool, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, and USS Midway Museum.

The KidsFest San Diego is a fantastic family event catering to kids, and provides them with tons of activities which they can enjoy week-end long. It features a build it square zone, creation station, messy zone, raise the roof, dress up alley, dance party, green thumb market, gumball alley, the lunch place, and the shake, rattle, and roll drum circle. There is so much going on that you have to be physically fit to follow your kids around! This is one festival where the kids are the stars!
