Liberia, Costa Rica

About 215 kilometers northwest of the Costa Rican capital lay a tourist hotspot known as Liberia. It is the seat of government and the largest city in Guanacaste Province. The city’s main economic mainstay is tourism. Today, the city is home to 63,000 permanent residents. It has been a major player in the Costa Rican tourism industry, with tourists headed to Playa del Coco, Playa Tamarindo, Papagayo Peninsula and Playa Hermosa passing through the town. Tourists also love to take a peek into the Costa Rican past by visiting Museo de Sabanero

The city has been in part helped by the good climate and the availability of the Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport 6 kilometers from the city. If you get a chance, visit this destination. It will be money well spent.
